What's good

  • Network RTK removes the local antenna where coverage exists, and Navimow includes NRTK access at no extra cost
  • Satellite positioning does not depend on the yard having walls or trees to recognize, so open lawns suit it
  • The quietest rated mower on this page at 59 dB(A)

What's not

  • RTK needs satellite signal: Navimow fuses vision to help under trees and near walls, but heavy cover is the classic RTK weak spot
  • Antenna-free only where Network RTK covers your address; Navimow has a postcode checker, and the box includes a GNSS antenna kit otherwise
  • 45% slope rating is well below the LiDAR and X4 picks here
  • Cutting height is set by hand on the mower, not from the app

Our verdict

The counterpoint to the Dreame A3 AWD at the same lawn size, and the better choice for a mostly open lawn. RTK positioning is at its best with a clear sky and needs nothing in the yard to recognize; the A3's LiDAR is at its best with structure around it and needs no sky. Check Network RTK coverage for your address before you buy, and expect to install the included antenna if it is not there.

Frequently asked questions

Only where Network RTK is not available. Navimow says that where Network RTK covers your area there is no local antenna to install: the mower connects through the Navimow app, and NRTK access and the cellular data it needs are included at no extra cost. Navimow's site has a postcode checker, and the box includes a GNSS antenna and installation kit.
